Behind the Looks

Jerome Sabourin CSC is a Montreal-based Cinematographer and Director of Photography. Over the past 25 years he has worked on dozens of English and French films, commercials and television shows. His experience led him to create a product that would give him an easy to use, stable but flexible look with film personality built in. Jerome co-founded Color by LookLabs in an effort to make a product he could use himself. In collaboration with Video MTL of Montreal and Toronto, Jerome analyzed digital footage from industry standard cameras to find the differences in how footage responds, leading to the development of SpeedLooks camera patches
